WILD CHISWICK - 26 April - Butterflies

Wild Chiswick Talk - "Butterflies" 7pm in Church. A lovely evening full of lots of images of butterflies.

Ruth Brookes from Kew Gardens came to talk about butterflies. She regularly conducts butterfly surveys and is committed to finding ways in which we can protect and continue to enjoy these lovely creatures in our gardens and green spaces. Ruth shared her experiences with us, outlined the ecology of butterflies, gave us hints on how to attract them to our gardens and told us what species to look out for around Chiswick and surrounding areas.

There was of course tea/coffee and biscuits….. and some cake. And a raffle too.
