Become a Church Member
We would love you to join St Michael’s Church by becoming an official member.
You can do this if you are baptised and can confirm one of the three statements on the form below. Membership (also called the church electoral roll) is the official register of church members in the Church of England. It is a list of those qualified to attend and to vote at the Annual Parochial Church Meetings.

As a member of St Michael’s, we hope you will:
- Take part in the fellowship and work of the church (This will include
praying for the church and its members; caring for the needy by
offering practical help; giving regular financial support; and using the
spiritual gifts and talents God has given you to benefit others in their
Christian life and growth) - Continue to think about your faith and how it relates to your home
life, daytime occupation, leisure time and the world in which you live - Seek follow Christ and grow in his likeness, loving God and neighbour
- Continue to develop your personal relationship with God through
regular prayer and study of the Bible - Come to church regularly, worshipping with other members of our
church community (unless illness prevents you) - Pray for and support those who lead and serve our church
- Seek to share your faith with others
- Support the work of God's church worldwide and locally
